In-person and virtual tours of current exhibitions, KAC’s campus, and the sculptures along Lake Bluff Park are available year-round for schools, special interest groups, and friends and families!
Our standard tour rates are as follows:
45-MINUTE GALLERY TOUR
Explore KAC’s exhibitions with a trained docent during an in-person inquiry-based tour. Docents will ask questions, facilitate dialogue, and introduce elements and principles of art while looking closely at the work on view.
45-MINUTE VIRTUAL TOUR
Use Zoom to engage in discussion about the art on view with a trained docent. This virtual tour includes a pre-visit slideshow of the art on view, resources related to the exhibition, and tips for using Zoom.

60-MINUTE GALLERY TOUR

30-MINUTE CAMPUS TOUR
Get the inside scoop on the monumental sculpture by Richard Hunt that welcomes you to KAC and other outdoor sculptures on the campus before heading inside to see select artworks in the museum’s permanent collection.
60-MINUTE SCULPTURE TOUR
Learn more about the art around town on this 60-minute walking tour of KAC’s public sculptures on view in downtown St. Joseph.

FLOOR PLANS, PARKING, & RESOURCES
KAC is accessible by ramps on three sides of the building. Galleries are all accessible on the same floor as the main entrance of the building, and a wheelchair and rolling gallery stools are available upon request. The Lounge is a quiet space away from the main galleries available to all visitors during regular open hours. Maps of the art center’s main floor spaces and outdoor campus with parking are available for download.
