The Krasl Clay Artist Guild Program provides experienced ceramicists with independent access to the KAC ceramics studio. Members are invited to participate in a number of KAC events and programs throughout the year, including Ceramic Studio Potlucks, Raku Firings, Studio Open Houses, and the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff. We believe the cooperative interaction of people in the studio is a rich source of artistic development carried out in a mutually supportive environment.
Curbside Guild Membership
Curbside Guild Membership includes cone 04 bisque and cone 6 glaze firings. Members may drop off/pick up art to be fired on Mondays, 11 am-1 pm and 4-6 pm.
Email Nathan at firstname.lastname@example.org to let him know when you plan to arrive, what you would like to pick up, and if you would like to purchase any additional clay or glazes. Text him at (269) 921-0093 when you are in the parking lot. No need to walk to the front door- he will deliver to your car!
*Curbside Members may also drop off art in the Overlook Room on Fri/Sat/Sun. For alternate pickup dates, email email@example.com so that Nathan can notify front desk staff.
In-Studio Guild Membership includes cone 04 bisque and cone 6 glaze firings, house-made glazes, and independent use of the ceramics studios during KAC open hours. Wheels, slab-roller and other tools are available.
Open Studio Hours
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 11 am-5 pm
In-Studio Guild members must fill out a Doodle Poll to reserve a space and time at least 24 hours prior to working in the studio. Please arrive and depart as scheduled and plan for cleanup time. A maximum of 8 (6 in main studio/2 in glazing) guild members may work in the studios at the same time.
Krasl Clay Artist Guild membership is not to be confused with a Krasl Art Center membership and its benefits. KAC membership is encouraged but not required for Clay Artist Guild consideration and participation.
