Interpretation and Engagement Coordinator

The Interpretation and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for comprehensively engaging guests at the Krasl Art Center in a manner that is creative, inviting and meaningful. This will be accomplished through interpretive content and programs made available indoors, outdoors and online; dynamic gallery tours, welcoming guest services, and mindfully selected artist-made merchandise in the gift shop. The Interpretation and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing gallery content, leading the KAC docent program, training forward facing staff and volunteers, providing collections management, and curatorial assistance.

volunteer coordinator

The Krasl Art Center Volunteer Coordinator collaborates with staff to meet the Krasl Art Center’s volunteer needs through recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers.  They ensure a successful experience for each volunteer encouraging repeat involvement. This position is primarily responsible for the development of the KAC volunteer program from position descriptions, community outreach, retention and volunteer recognition.

Volunteer Opportunity 2/11/19 – Artist Committee Assistant

Have you ever wanted to get a backstage look at Krasl Art Fair?  The Krasl Art Center has the opportunity for an extremely detail oriented, computer savvy individual with great online communication skills to work as a liaison between the Krasl Art Fair staff and the artists. The Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff Artist Committee Assistant will work with the Executive Director, Art Fair Manager and entire Artist Committee as the first line of communications with the artists.  Position has flexible hours and may work both in the Krasl Art Center office or at home.
