Thank you for volunteering! YOU make the Krasl Art Fair a success! Year after year when we do artist surveys, “The Incredible Volunteers” category is ALWAYS the #1 thing artists rank about the art fair. You are part of an incredible team!

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR VOLUNTEER COMPLIMENTARY GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET:

As a “Thank You” for volunteering at the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, all volunteers receive (1) complimentary general admission ticket to the Art Fair. This ticket cannot be exchanged for Art Fair tickets previously purchased. The limit is (1) ticket per volunteer. 

  • Come to the Volunteer Registration table at Krasl Art Center to pick up your complimentary general admission ticket.
  • You may do so anytime during the Art Fair, before or after your shift.
  • When you pick up your complimentary general admission ticket, you must designate which day of the Art Fair you plan to use it. You will be given a complimentary general admission ticket sticker for the day you choose. 
  • You must wear the sticker on your chosen day to go to the Art Fair as a visitor. This sticker represents your complimentary ticket and provides you with (1) general admission to the Art Fair on the day you have designated. 
  • The sticker is good for one day of the Art Fair. We ask that you honor this policy and please plan your time accordingly.

What you need to know

We are thrilled to announce food will be served to Volunteers in 2022! A Volunteer Hospitality tent will be available at KAC’s grounds. All Volunteers are able to access it for “Grab-n-Go” snacks before and after their shift. Volunteers will also receive a complimentary bottle of water, and KAC has a refilling fountain indoors. Lunch will be provided for those volunteers committed to 2 or more shifts or shifts totaling 5 or more hours on the same day.

Notifications will be posted on this webpage and krasl.org regarding cancellations due to emergencies.

VOLUNTEER T-SHIRTS

Please wear the Art Fair volunteer t-shirt whenever you are volunteering. You are an ambassador of Krasl Art Center and a representative of our community to all who visit the Art Fair. We encourage returning volunteers to reuse their lime green shirts from the previous years. More information regarding volunteer t-shirts and how new volunteers can pick up a free t-shirt will be provided in our Volunteer Guidelines and on this page in June.

KAC SAFETY INFORMATION

The Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff and Krasl Art Center will follow the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the State of Michigan in regard to COVID-19 at the time of this event. Any health safety requirement will be posted on this web site.
