Getting Here


The event is held in Lake Bluff Park overlooking Lake Michigan.

Biking to the Art Fair is encouraged. Bike parking is located along the alley & Pearl St & Market St. Biking is prohibited along Lake Boulevard and within Lake Bluff Park during event hours.


Use of complementary (donation appreciated) shuttle service is strongly recommended, because parking within Downtown St. Joseph is limited. Shuttle pickup is expected every 15-20 minutes.

Event Rules


Please leave all types of pets at home when you visit Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff. Per City of St. Joseph ordinance, from dawn to dusk only service dogs are allowed on Art Fair grounds (Inclusive of Lake Bluff Park and Lake Boulevard).


Weapons of all kinds are prohibited. Skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, scooters, large signs and placards which may endanger or inconvenience the public are prohibited.


While photography is permitted, patrons are not allowed to take photos of the artists’ work without the artist’s expressed permission. Always ask permission from the artist before attempting to photograph near or in a booth.

Safety & Amenities


First aid service is sponsored by the American Red Cross. Located at the corner of Broad St & Lake Blvd, basic first aid needs may be met at this tent. In the event of an emergency dial 911.


Portable facilities are located throughout the event. Additionally, the Krasl Art Center is open with restrooms on all three floors.


The Art Fair is accessible. Wheelchairs are provided by Van’s Medical Equipment free of charge. Find Van’s on Lake Boulevard between Broad Street and Pleasant Street. Handicapped parking is located in a City parking lot located at Broad St & Lake Blvd. The lot is accessible through the alley.


Lost and Found is located inside Krasl Art Center, 269.983.0271.  


Lost people are encouraged to wait in Krasl Art Center lobby, (269.983.0271). For assistance in locating your lost person contact any uniformed City of St. Joseph officer or a Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff volunteer.


The Art Fair Shop features the poster, t-shirts and other creative gifts. Art Fair Shops are located within Lake Bluff Park in three locations. Additionally, The Shop within the Krasl Art Center features all Art Fair gifts.


Waterfront Framing and Fine Art is the preferred framer for the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff. They are open Art Fair weekend at 606 Ship Street. A 20% discount is available for framing of Art Fair purchases through July 29; find the coupon in the guidebook.


Many artists as well as food and beverage vendors accept credit card payment. Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff Shop and beverages sales locations accept credit cards. ATM’s are located in downtown St Joseph on Ship St & Broad St.
