  Krasl Art Center in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan collects and publicly displays contemporary sculpture. On our campus and throughout the community, indoors and out, you can engage with dynamic artworks by Dale Chihuly, Richard Hunt, George Rickey, and many more artists – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Explore KAC’s public sculpture sites and you will learn about more than art; you will discover the community in which it lives.

  Head to Lake Bluff Park on the second weekend of July for the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff presented by 1st Source Bank Wealth Advisory Services and Krasl Art Center! 2024 dates are Saturday, July 13 from 10 am – 6 pm, and Sunday, July 14 from 10 am – 5 pm.

Ready to show off your creativity? Let’s see what gnome magic you can create.

Join us for our gnome-tastic fall fundraiser, where you can create your very own gnome and enter it into our exciting competition for a chance to win a prize. After showcasing your creativity, you’ll have the option to submit your gnome for our Silent Auction to support the arts at Krasl. The deadline to enter is November 18, 5 pm. GNOME BY NIGHT: AN ARTFUL SOIREE

NOVEMBER 22, 6 – 9 PM

FIRST ACCESS TO VIEWING, VOTING, AND SHOPPING

Highlights of the evening include:

• First opportunity to vote for gnomes and shop ceramics from KAC’s Clay Artist Guild
• Live entertainment
• Select donated gnomes will be available for silent auction – vote with your dollars for the ultimate winner
• Whimsical themed appetizers
• A cash bar
• Holiday shopping and raffle
• Fancy dress – participants are encouraged to wear their fanciest gnome attire

This event serves KAC’s Fall FUNDRAISER. Tickets and proceeds support free exhibitions and programs at Krasl Art Center and ceramics sales support the Clay Guild.

GNOME SWEET GNOME: A FAMILY FUN DAY

NOVEMBER 23, 10 AM – 2 PM

Bring the whole family for a gnome-tastic day filled with free activities like a gnome photo board, fashion show parade, scavenger hunt, and more.

For more gnome fun, purchase a $10 punch card and enjoy up to 10 additional activities, including crafts, cupcake decorating, face painting, train rides, and more!

Highlights of the day include:

• A Gnome costume parade at 12:00 p.m.
• A Gnome Blast at 1:30 p.m.

This family fun day is a part of Krasl’s fall FUNDRAISER event. As part of the day, Krasl Art Center’s Clay Guild will be hosting their annual guild sale featuring bowls and of course GNOMES.
