TUESDAY, AUGUST 23
5 pm – Sunset
FREE & Open to the Public at Silver Beach County Park

On August 23 from 5 pm to Sunset celebrate the twentieth anniversary of this beacon to Benton Harbor and St. Joseph with artmaking, ice cream, artmaking, poetry, a live steel drum performance, boat rides, and refreshments at the Shadowland Pavilion at Silver Beach County Park. Mr. Hunt will partake in the festivities and guest speakers will share the stories behind this magnificent artwork

This celebration is co-hosted by Krasl Art Center and Berrien County Parks; it is free and open to the public.

Standing nearly 50 feet tall, Richard Hunt’s And You, Seas welcomes visitors by water as they approach the twin cities from Lake Michigan. The monumental sculpture at Silver Beach County Park turns 20 this summer, and KAC is celebrating with a birthday party! Join us at the sculpture site for cake and ice cream and share your own memories about the artist and sculpture in this special tribute.
