ART ANGELS PROGRAM

The Art Angels Program was established in 2001 as a partnership with Corewell Health to provide opportunities for oncology and pediatrics patients to make art during treatment. The healing value of art was recognized in ancient Greece by Hippocrates. Working with the Education department of Krasl, two days a week, KAC Art Therapist Holly Garces facilitates art projects with patients and their families at Lakeland Medical Center and Marie Yeager Cancer Center. The program is supported in part by a grant from Lakeland Foundation.
