Opening in Project Space, Krasl Art Center presents a new installation by Bella Kiser, expanding her exploration of soft architecture. Working within fiber, sculpture, installation, performance, and sound, Kiser builds environments that consider how ideas of home and identity are shaped through experience and space.
Kiser is a mixed-race Filipino American artist from Chicago, IL, based in Detroit, MI. Her practice moves between textiles, wearables, and immersive installation systems, she describes as fabritecture, an adaptable approach to building shaped by sensory and lived conditions.
