In-person and virtual tours of current exhibitions, the KAC campus, and the sculptures along Lake Bluff Park are available year-round for schools, special interest groups, and even friends and families! Email curatorial@krasl.org regarding availability and pricing. 

Need-based transportation reimbursement and scholarships for K – 12 schools are available upon request.

Get the inside-scoop on the monumental sculpture by Richard Hunt that welcomes you to KAC as well as other outdoor sculptures on the campus before heading inside to see select artworks in the museum’s permanent collection.

45-MINUTE VIRTUAL TOUR

Use Zoom to engage in discussion about the art on view with a trained docent. This virtual tour includes a pre-visit slideshow of the art on view, resources related to the exhibition, and tips for using Zoom.

Study art and make art in person at KAC during a custom tour and art project developed for school children (K-12). Students will:

  • Tour KAC’s Galleries with a trained docent (45 min)
  • Create an exhibition-inspired artwork (45 min)

ACCESS

FLOOR PLANS, PARKING, & RESOURCES

KAC is accessible by ramps on three sides of the building. Galleries are all accessible on the same floor as the main entrance of the building, and a wheelchair and rolling gallery stools are available upon request. KAC’s Overlook Room is a quiet space away from the main galleries available to all visitors during regular open hours. Maps of the art center’s main floor spaces and outdoor campus with parking are available for download.
