DESCRIPTION:Through July\, KAC continued the spirit of the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff with this outdoor art-buying experience. This August\, the Summer Art Market on the Green continues! \nMarkets feature local artists and will take place Saturdays\, August 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, & 29 from 10 AM – 2 PM on the oval lawn at KAC. Some artists accept credit cards\, all accept cash payments. Though these markets and entrance to KAC are always free and open to the public\, a $1 donation is encouraged. \nPlease Note: Guests and artists are expected to follow social distancing practices\, sanitize hands often\, and must wear face coverings while at the Market. Jones and Chicago sculptor Barbara Cooper went on view at KAC on March 13\, just as we closed our doors to protect our community in the midst of COVID-19. In April\, we were delighted to extend the exhibitions through August so that visitors might have the opportunity to see these powerful artworks in person. KAC is now open to the public\, and the two exhibitions remain on view through August 31.  \nAnd what better way for members to experience this work than with special member tours?  Sign up to join Executive Director Julia Gourley Donohue or Deputy Director & Curator Tami Miller on a guided walk through the galleries each Thursday in August.
