General Information about Krasl
The Krasl Art Center offers monthly exhibitions in four galleries. Our
permanent collection of contemporary sculpture can be viewed on our grounds
and around our community. Docent lead tours can be arranged by calling the Krasl Art Center's Education Department or
pick up your free SculpTour brochure at Krasl.
Art classes and workshops are offered onsite in a wide variety of artistic media: pottery, painting, jewelry
making, drawing for the beginning or established artist of all ages.
Directions to the Krasl Art Center
From Chicago I-94
Take I-94 East to exit 27 turn left.
Go North into St.Joseph and through 7 stop lights.
One street beyond the 7th stop light is Pearl St., turn left onto Pearl St., go 2 blocks.
Krasl will be on the left.
From Kalamazoo I-94
Take I-94 West to exit 33 (Business 94/Benton Harbor.) The street becomes Main Street.
Go through town, over the bridge and around a right curve, this now becomes Port Street.
Go 2 blocks beyond the stop light and around a left curve, this now becomes Lake
Boulevard. Go to the flashing yellow light, Krasl will be on the left.
From Grand Rapids I-196
Take I-196 to exit 7, turn right on Hagar Shore Rd., and then left at the stop sign onto M-63.
Take M-63 South 9 and 7/10 miles to the 4th stop light, Park Street.
Turn right onto Park Street, go 2 blocks, Krasl will be on the right.
From South Bend, IN
Take Michigan Street/US 31 BR/IN 933, and drive north toward Niles, crossing into Michigan.
Cross Bell Road, go under a bridge, and turn left onto the ramp to US 12 toward New Buffalo.
Take the US 31 Bypass EXIT north to Holland, MI, and continue to the M-139 EXIT 15B toward Benton Harbor/St. Joseph.
Merge onto MI-139 and turn left onto Miners Road/MI 63/Niles Avenue, and continue into St. Joseph.
At Pearl Street, turn left, and go two blocks. Krasl is on the left.
