Art Education

General Information

Krasl Art Center offers studio art classes, summer art camps, and workshops for individuals of all ages. From learning the art of watercolors to throwing on the potter's wheel, the KAC's programs offer something for everyone. Registration is required for all programs unless otherwise noted. School educators can take advantage of many educational opportunities both at the KAC and in their own classrooms.

Adult Only Art Camp:

Mon.-Fri., June 21-25

Mark your calendar for this fun grown-up camp.  Each day includes intensive workshops in a new creative process.  Led by professional working artists a variety of media will be address in the fun and casual KAC studios. 

Teen Summer Studio:

* These abbreviated 1 or 2 day workshops will feature all the KAC has to offer in bit-sized chunks of time. 

Class & Workshop Policies

  • SNOW DAYS! Classes are cancelled and the KAC offices close when St. Joseph Public Schools close due to weather. Please call KAC and listen to the radio if in doubt. KAC is closed major holidays and for the Blossom Parade.
  • Members have priority registration two weeks prior to open registration..
  • Prices are listed as Krasl Member/Non-Member.
  • Registration cannot be accepted without full payment.
  • Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment (typically 6 students) will be cancelled and tuition refunded. Please register at least 2 business days prior to the start of class.
  • The day before class is scheduled to begin, please call the KAC to verify class is being held.
  • Class fees are not prorated.
  • Supply costs are included for children's classes. Adults should call for a supply list.
  • There are no makeup classes unless KAC cancels class.
  • Adult classes are open to teens age 13+.
  • A full refund will be given to a student who withdraws from class at least one week prior to the start of class. No refunds will be given if a student withdraws less than a week before class begins.
